Mohammad Hossein Heidarpour
Founder and CEO
Mohammad Hossein Heidarpour is a PhD candidate in Law at the University of Lausanne, where his research explores the intersection of blockchain, artificial intelligence, and cross-border dispute resolution. His doctoral work focuses on the legal, regulatory, and Private International Law challenges posed by decentralized justice platforms.
He holds an LL.M. in International Business Law and Innovation from the University of Lausanne and brings nearly two decades of experience as an attorney and legal counsel in international trade, energy, and technology law, with a particular focus on tech-based startups and blockchain-based projects. He has also served as General Of-Counsel and Head of Legal-Tech at SMB International Law Firm in Geneva.
Mohammad is a listed arbitrator with the Blockchain Lawyers Forum (BLF) and the founder of AryaTech, a Swiss-based legal consultancy specializing in legal advisory, private mediation, and arbitration for technology-related projects and disputes. He is an active member of the international legal tech community and regularly contributes to academic and policy discussions on the future of dispute resolution in the digital age.

Certified Attorney-at-Law (Iran Central Bar, 2005–2021), with a demonstrated history of negotiating, drafting, supervising, and resolving disputes in a wide array of international commercial contracts, including M&As, SAFTs, Joint Ventures, NDAs, SPAs, SHAs, EPCs, Co-Founder Agreements, Partnerships, Close-Outs, Shipping Contracts, and agreements in the Oil & Gas sector.
Senior Expert in Foreign Contracts and Disputes(Tehran, 2012-2018) with major public-sector energy companies such as National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), managing high-stakes oil and gas transactions and dispute resolution.
Head of LegalTech Department & Of Counsel at SMB International Law Firm (Geneva, 2022-2025), leading initiatives at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation.
Building on this diverse expertise, he has founded AryaTech Heidarpour, an independent legal consultancy in Switzerland dedicated to tech-related dispute resolution and compliance as well as tech-startups general and specific legal counselling. AryaTech is the culmination of his academic and professional journey.
Brenda Copani
Head of Dispute Resolution and AI Law & Policy
Brenda Copani is a multilingual lawyer specializing in technology and energy, with extensive experience in international law and dispute resolution. She serves as Head of Dispute Resolution, where she leads complex disputes as co-counsel, mediator or arbitrator and provides in-depth analyses on technology-driven cases.
With a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) cum laude, she has worked across leading law firms in civil, commercial, administrative, labour, IP, M&A, criminal law, and international arbitration. She combines broad legal expertise with a deep understanding of emerging technologies and cross-border regulatory frameworks, delivering practical solutions for startups and enterprises across the EU, GCC, APAC, and LATAM.
Brenda brings a solid grounding in law and analytical reasoning, strengthened by multilingual fluency in Italian, French, Spanish, English, and Portuguese, enhancing her ability to drive effective cross-border collaboration. Deeply motivated to bridge legal frameworks with emerging technologies, she promotes innovative and ethical practices and is committed to working with diverse teams to address complex challenges.
During her academic years, she was two-time elected President of the Conduct Tribunal (2021–2023) and actively participated in moot court competitions across Latin America and Europe — including the Vis Moot, Pre-Vis Moot, CIA LATAM, and IP Moot Court – PY — serving both as a speaker and writer (2020–2023). She also served as Director of Academic Training at the Law and Economics Society of her university, Deputy Editor of its institutional journal, and contributor to the Law Journal of the Catholic University (2021–2022). Her commitment to community impact is reflected in her pro bono work in Civil, Criminal, and Family Law Legal Clinics (2022–2023). She received a full academic excellence scholarship in 2023.
And her strong academic foundation is reflected in her thesis, Energy Law and Arbitration: An Analysis of the Paraguayan Context.
Brenda is an active member of the Blockchain Lawyers Forum (BLF), where she also serves as Editor in Chief and Head of Language Editing for the BLF Journal.
Negar Modirrousta
Head of Compliance
Negar Modirrousta is a Master student in Law and New Technologies at the University of Roma Tre, where it is among the top three law universities in Italy. With bachelor’s degree in Law and Jurisprudence from University of Tehran, her passion to evolving subjects and knowledge of Legal issues, led her to immerse herself in pervasive and leading Tech-based fields.
Her career journey has initiated with Regulatory and Market Access Public Affairs (MAPA) and Compliance Team of Nestlé Iran.
Now she works as the Head of Compliance in Aryatech Heidarpour Legal Consultancy where she leads the legal compliance function for a fast-growing world of industries, startup ventures and enterprise.
Responsibilities include regulatory strategy, risk management, privacy and data security, vendor risk management, and navigation of complex cross-border legal challenges. She develops and maintains a company-wide compliance program: policy framework, due diligence processes, regulatory controls, policy-drafting, anti-bribery and corruption programs.
Arinze Ezeagu
Head of Startups & Ventures
Arinze Ezeagu is a Nigerian-qualified lawyer with an LL.M. from the World Trade Institute, University of Bern, and the Graduate Institute Geneva, specialising in international trade law and dispute settlement. His work sits at the intersection of arbitration and venture-building, with a particular focus on how legal technology and digital tools can improve the efficiency, scalability, and commercial relevance of dispute resolution. He has advised legal technology start-ups and taken on venture roles, bringing a practitioner’s perspective to the development and deployment of innovative arbitration-adjacent solutions.
Sorush Ghodsi
Head of IP Protection
Sorush Ghodsi is a legal counsel and doctoral researcher specializing in EU digital regulation, intellectual property, and technology law, with over four years of experience advising organizations on complex regulatory and contractual matters. He holds an Advanced LL.M. in IP & ICT Law from KU Leuven (2025) and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from Shahid Beheshti University, complemented by a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) designation from the IAPP. From September 2026, he will pursue doctoral research at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, further deepening his academic contribution to the field of EU digital and technology law.
Professionally, he serves as the IP and Regulatory Legal Advisor for Airtemp Co., where he has managed trademark registrations and regulatory compliance across 14 countries. Before that, he was the Legal Counsel for Payambaran Hospital, where he was responsible for negotiating, reviewing, drafting, and concluding technology procurement agreements, as well as litigating cases on behalf of the hospital. He has been a licensed member of the Judiciary Bar Association of Iran since 2021, admitted as one of the youngest candidates in his national cohort, and acted as a legal associate at Ghasran Edalat Law Firm, where he drafted and negotiated numerous commercial contracts and managed contentious proceedings, including national and international commercial arbitrations. In March 2026, he was also selected as an arbitrator at the 33rd Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna.
Fluent in English (IELTS 7.5 / C2), French (B2), and Persian (native), Sorush is based in Brussels and advises clients navigating the intersection of EU digital law, EU IP law, AI governance, and cross-border intellectual property strategy.

He is specialised in Corporate and Private banking, Sales, Asset Management, Asset Based Finance, Financial Analysis & Engineering, Risk Management, Sales & Marketing, Institutional Sales, Trading and Investment Banking. In 2021 he founded a Consulting and Advisory firm focusing on Management and Business consulting, Banking, M&As, Investment solutions and Digital Transformation.Alexis is a certified Civil and Commercial Mediator, is part of the executive Wealth Management committee of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI, Cyprus), the President of the Montpellier Business School Cyprus/ Greece Alumni branches and is involved in various non-profit and academic organisations.Alexis holds an LLM/LPC from the University of Law (London), a MSc. in Management Sciences and from Montpellier Business School (France) and a MSc. in Finance & Audit from Montpellier University 1 (France). He is fluent in French, English, Greek and German.
